Sessions are available as theory/ practical focussed full study days, half study days and remote sessions, depending on the host’s particular requirements. Here are some examples of subjects covered though please get in touch if you’d like to discuss anything else.
Full study day – all aspects of waterbirth including benefits for professionals, mothers/birthing people and babies. Clinical care of all three stages of labour. Newborn physiology during waterbirth/first breath. Up to date recent – Quantitative and Qualitative research
Full / half day theory as requested by host
Half day practical – Room preparation to emergency evacuation in host pool room.
Zoom sessions - Basic session, Waterbirth update, Host specific session
Parents/birthing people- Benefits to mother/birthing person and baby. Care during labour/birth. First breath for baby
Zoom labour and birth- Choice of place of birth. Choices of pain relief. Different types of delivery. Induction of labour. Post natal care and de briefing. Organisations/ charities who can assist.
